SSP offers a broad line of fittings for hose applications, including reusable hydraulic hose fittings, weld-on metal hose fittings, barbed push-on hose fittings, and field attachable/reusable fittings for Teflon hose. SSP Reusable Hose Fittings are attached to the hose by screwing the fitting socket onto the outside of the hose. Then, the body or nipple is screwed into the socket causing the hose to be gripped firmly between the two parts of the fitting. Fittings of this style are available for the following hoses: SAE100R1 Type AT Hose SSP Reusable Hose Fittings enable repair and replacement in the field,
allowing replacement of worn out hoses while reusing fittings. SSP Weld-On Fittings are designed to be permanently attached to metal hose and are manufactured from low carbon grade stainless steel to minimize post-welding, inter-granular corrosion. SSP’s butt weld design provides a liberal surface for welding filler material as well as significant wall thickness to protect against "burn-through" during welding. Standard fittings include: Butt Weld X Male Pipe Thread For Instrumentation Tube Fitting Weld Adapters, see Duolok, Unilok, Griplok. SSP Barbed & Serrated Push-On Fittings are available for low-pressure applications and may be interchangeably with Parker or Aeroquip brand fittings. SSP Teflon Hose Fittings are field attachable and reusable, allowing users to repair or replace hoses in the field without the need for new fittings. They are designed for use on stainless steel, single braid, Teflon lined hose, and are interchangeable with Aeroquip super gem® and Parker 91 Series fittings.
