SSP Fittings
Corporation is located southeast of Cleveland, Ohio, in North
America's heartland in a modern, expansive 165,000 square foot
facility. The 25 acre campus is the headquarters for SSP and
its sister company, King Forge and Machine.
For over 70 years, SSP Fittings has exhibited an expertise in the precision machining of tight tolerance, high quality fitting components. Truly committed to being a vertically integrated manufacturer, SSP sets the standard for production flexibility and capability. No other manufacturer of adapters, connectors and fittings controls and executes as many stages of production from one facility as is performed at SSP. As a manufacturer, SSP designs and manufactures all forge and machine tooling, validates all of its designs, forges all of its shapes, machines all of its fittings, and tests its finished products at the Twinsburg facility. SSP's Quality System has been certified to conform to the ISO 9001 Quality Standard. Industrial and Instrumentation Since 1926, SSP Fittings has manufactured precision screw machine products for a side range of industrial applications in the petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, construction, mining, plastics, and pulp/paper industries. In 1993, in response to customers' requests for an alternative product offering in the instrumentation marketplace, strategic plans were developed to design, manufacture, and distribute American manufactured, Instrument quality tube fitting as alternatives to - and compatible with - Swagelok®, Parker CPI™, and A-Lok® and Hoke Gyrolok® brand fittings. SSP recruited recognized Instrumentation industry experts to form a specialized design and business unit team, SSP Instrumentation. Following an ISO 9001 design process pattern, the critical elements of design planning, as well as an extensive design verification and validation process were undertaken. As a result of these efforts, at the national ISA Show in 1998, SSP Instrumentation introduced the following product lines and internationally registered trademarks: Duolok® tube fittings, directly interchangeable with Swagelok tube fittings Unilok® tube fittings, directly interchangeable with Parker CPI tube fittings Griplok® tube fittings, directly interchangeable with Gyrolok tube fittings TruFit® pipe, weld, hose and adapter fittings, directly interchangeable with fittings provided by Cajon, Parker and Hoke |
